My mother is amazing! I can't really decide on a special memory, because every memory with her is special to me. Now that I'm married and away from home, I truly realize the effort and sacrifice she made for us kids. My mother always encouraged me to follow my dreams and never let anything stop me. She is a big reason why I have this Etsy store. I hope that this scarf (and all the other colors there are) can help mother's feel beautiful, because they all are. And that the hot-pads help add beauty to the home, which the mother is in charge of ;) if momma ain't happy, nobody is.

I started my shop two years ago. I realized that my hobby can be my favourite work and made a decision to try selling things which I was knitting. My favourite things which I like knitting are hats and scarves. I love people telling me that they like my things and feel fantastic wearing them. located in Nelson, New Zealand

Originally from Southland, my craft journey started when I used to sit and watch my Mum knitting. 

I moved to Christchurch as a teenager where the artist in me was put to good use for many years as a Hairdresser. 

Sewing and Knitting became part of my life as well as a growing family.

I now live and work in sunny Nelson.

With the children grown up and living their own lives I started making mosaics and fell in love with them.

I suffered from illness for a number of years and lost a lot of confidence in myself. 

In 2015 finally got answers and my good health back and was looking around for something to do.

I found an add for The Nelson Fiber Group they were looking for people to make hats for chemo patients.

Let's just say I was hooked. It was this talented friendly group that gave me the confidence to get back into life and open my etsy shop.

I think a life time is not nearly long enough to create all the ideas in my head.

Fiber has so many possibilities and my journey is still evolving.
