MEET ISABELLA MONFRONI

MEET Isabella Monfroni
Owner of COSE DI ISA
located in Rome, Italy

My thing for all of you
I knit and crochet for more than 50 years with passion.
After having invaded my house, those of my family and friends, I decided to offer my work to all of you.

I like Knitting and crochet very much, it relaxes me and gives me the serenity and joy that, many times, are put strained by my daily work.
I dedicate to my creations all the passion that drives me, but above all every free minute from daily commitments.

Please don't ask me about patterns cause I don't work on patterns.
Every single item in my shop is tailored on size and needs of the customer and I set a specific project for you.
All my work is based on my skill of experienced knitter not on patterns. Probably everyone is able to knit something only following a pattern, but the uniqueness of my work is that I create a project only for you.

The most important thing is not the time that the job requires, but the quality of the yarns that I use, I tried for a long time and I still keep on looking for yarns of the highest quality, focusing as much as possible the natural yarns, because nothing synthetic can match the luster and the softness of pure virgin wool, Egyptian cotton, silk, etc…

I love working in particular Merino wool that I find exceptional for softness, lightness and smoothness, almost all my works are made with this magnificent yarn.

Merino is NATURAL, each year 70 million Australian sheep, grown freely in nature produce the best wool in the world, thanks to the perfect combination of fresh air, sunshine, succulent grass and loving care.

Merino is BIODEGRADABLE, unlike synthetic fibers polluting the air, water, soil, Merino wool is completely biodegradable, once abandoned it decomposes in a few years by slowly releasing nutrients to the soil.

Merino is RENEWABLE ; each year the Merino sheep produce a new fleece, that you need shear to ensure complete well-being of the animal, and this makes Merino wool a completely renewable resource.

Merino is PRECIOUS; natural breeding methods of Merino sheep, as well as ensuring the complete well-being of the animal, make Merino wool a precious raw material of great value.

If you put in first place the quality, the handicraft and uniqueness, as I do, you're in the right place
